Steve & Jacqui & Boston

After Alicia's place we went to visit Steve & Jacqui on the tuesday after easter, we got in about lunch time, it took longer than I thought to drive in next time I will have to allow two hrs for the drive. Steve cooked some nice meals, It was good to spend time with them and Boston, seeing him after those few months he was a different boy, running around playing with toys.

We stayed until friday morning and then went back up to Alicia's to pick up some of of things and then on to the highway for the long trip home.
We stayed overnight at the boyne river rest area that is about an hour south of Rocky, and then on to home the next day.

Alicia & Dave's Easter 2006

Easter weekend we visited Alicia & Dave, had a nice time, I went walking every morning, its a beautiful part of the world, rain forest board walk, went to the movies and had coffee on the beach front cafe, Alicia worked most of the time but it was worth it, to see her, she said she made 2000 hot crossbuns for easter.

Mathew

Mathew a friend of ours from church, Ross and I took him prawning one day down at the Burdekin river, first time he had been fishing he said, we caught three prawns and one little mullet well matthew couldn't believe that we actually got some fish, I wouldn't say we did, try to keep it a secret, that we only caught three prawns and a mullet but he could not wait to tell everyone, we all love him at church he is the best. Matthew has an interesting story to tell about his rescure from the the Muslim gangs of Manchester, England, ask me some day, I dont think he would like me to say to much on the internet. Pastor Les asked some of the church to be present for his baptism at Hutchings lagoon the other day, that's what the dunking is all about, and pastor Les saying that the old life will be washed away and when he rises up he will be washed clean and a new man in God, God says that the old sins he will cast from the east is to the west.

When we heard about Terry's illness we were shocked, All the family rallied around to visit him, we went up about four times I think, we went out to dinner at Brothers Club for a nice meal, Dion & Mardi came over Steve & Alicia came up too. More photos on flickr : click on next in the set.

Innisfail Oct 2005

I thought I would catch up on my news, Oct 2005 John Papalardo and I flew up to Innisfail for a weekend Barbq & Flyin, Nev Walker from Ayr flew his home built helicopter there also as well as other people from allover North Queensland. We flew coastal all the way over water most of the time.
